Welsh Winter & Youngstock Show

The last show of the year, held at the Haras Nationaux, Pompadour.

A wet, grey day, we took Hilin Lord Aurelius for his final outing of 2023. He did not disappoint us as usual - winning his yearling class and then going on to be Champion Junior Section B, against some very nice youngsters (foals up to 3 years old).

He was quite exuberant and uncharacteristically difficult to present but he still managed to catch the judges eye - they really liked him and complimented us on how well he looked.

Now we will have a quiet few months before the show season 2024 begins. Depending on how he develops, we may show Lord Aurelius next year but "little brother", Hilin Alfie Boe, will make his debut on the circuit here in France.
