First Foal of 2025!

Alot of firsts this week!!

On the 26th March we welcomed our first foal of the year - a smart chestnut colt, by Hilin Lord Aurelius out of Thistledown Queen of Rio. A welsh section B pony with 4 high white socks and a big white blaze - he is sure to be a very eye catching pony for the future!

The foaling was text book - it is always a big relief when all goes well , so it was a great start to the foaling season.

The covering season is also under way and our first external mares arrive very soon , to be covered by our stallions. I think that it is going to be quite a busy few months!

Spring is definitely in the air, all the ponies are looking great, losing their winter coats and enjoying the first taste of the spring grass as it comes through. It is a lovely time of year!
